When I Was a Kid, I Wrote This

Unpredictable Element

My life is like the ocean
Commonly calm, yet at times unpredictable
The water rests making a gentile blue landscape
In its depths no one can tell
So black and dark at the bottom
However, the depths do not contain sadness or sorrow
Merely creativity and happiness
Brought on by the strong mind of the individual
Mind strength compared to a redwood
Except stronger
Deep in thought as the color of the ruby
Yet deeper
The ocean, never lonesome
Always entertained by the many creatures within it
The waves crash up on to the beach
Curious of what they might find
Sanding the rock’s edges
Adjusting the curvature to that of a circle
Making it complete
