A new project of mine that I have begun working on is organizing PechaKucha Night events in Santa Barbara (California).

While I was living in Tokyo, I was fortunate enough to attend several PechaKucha Night events at SuperDeluxe.

We are shooting for March 29th to host the first one, and I am really hoping that it catches on here. An event like this is great for the community, and valuable for individuals.

It started by finding a great wood incense box and incense amongst the redwoods during a road trip to rural Oregon.

I am finding that Japanese incense is my favorite due to the scents, and that it tends not to be too strong in smell, and it reminds me of the time that I spent living in Japan.

I have been going to this beach since I was a kid, and it still holds the spot for my favorite.
