Event Staff App - Web Application

SaaS web application that helps event businesses with the hiring, scheduling, and management of their staff.

Mark Them - Bookmark People on the Web

A social bookmarking service that builds relevant relationships between people and content on the Internet.

2011

AdMaximizer - Web Application

A large-scale ad distribution platform and ad server. Handles delivery of ads for websites, media players, and mobile apps.

2010

artweb.com - Website Builder CMS

Each artist, who has an account with artweb.com, uses this as their content management system. Users can modify their site's content and carry out other various tasks such as customizing the look of their website. Built with PHP on top of CodeIgniter. Interface built with jQuery, a JavaScript framework, and CSS. Service hosted on Amazon's EC2 and S3 cloud computing infrastructure.

I held the role of lead developer on both front-end and back-end development of this application.

Events by Philippe - Custom Website

Custom website built with CodeIgniter. Showcase section uses the Flickr API to fetch photos that are sorted by categories and events.

2009

artweb.com - User Account Area

Overhaul of the user account section. Built using PHP with CodeIgniter.

Sprasia.tv - CMS for Local Business Pages

Service that allows businesses in Tokyo to make their own websites. Businesses use content blocks that are generated with Sprasia's Flash applications. Built with PHP and MySQL on top of the Prado framework.

2008

Kirin Lemon Campaign Site

Contest website with a Japanese mobile website counterpart. Partnership project created while working with Sprasia. Submissions were made through the website. Built with PHP and MySQL.

Sprasia - Video Sharing Service

Rewrote and restructured the original core PHP code for the site as part of producing the second version. Played a key role in the information architecture aspect of the site.

Flanders Center of Osaka, Japan - Custom Website

Custom bilingual (Dutch and Japanese) website built with PHP. Uses EpressionEngine for the CMS. Project completed with AQ.

2007

New York Art Beat - Site Launch

Helped launch New York Art Beat. Involved with blog, global CSS for site, and various adaptations of the original Tokyo Art Beat system. Project completed with AQ.

Mozilla Japan - Get Firefox 2007 Video Contest Site

A site that took video file submissions for a campaign put on by Mozilla Japan. Also acts as a gallery of videos. Built with PHP. Interfaced with Loftwork and Sony's Eyevio. Project completed with AQ.

French Institute of Tokyo - Study Abroad Course App

Japanese search application to find study abroad programs in France. Built with PHP and MySQL. Uses Javascript/AJAX with the MooTools framework. Project completed with AQ.

Rui Hosono - Custom Website

Custom bilingual (Japanese and English) portfolio site for photographer Rui Hosono. Built using PHP and WordPress. Project completed with AQ.

Tokyo Art Beat - Custom Shop

Custom bilingual (Japanese and English) store for Tokyo Art Beat. Built with PHP and MySQL. Conveyor belt shopping cart area. Project completed with AQ.

Events by Philippe - Event Staffing Web Application

Application that helps manage the scheduling of employees and the scheduling of events. Built using PHP and MySQL. JavaScript development completed with Prototype framework. User accounts can be created for employees, clients, and vendors.

McCoy Electric - Custom Website

Attractive and easy-to-use showcase website. Gallery photos are hosted on Flickr and pulled into showcase section.
