PechaKucha Night Santa Barbara
A new project of mine that I have begun working on is organizing PechaKucha Night events in Santa Barbara (California).
While I was living in Tokyo, I was fortunate enough to attend several PechaKucha Night events at SuperDeluxe.

Incense
Have recently gotten back into incense.
It started by finding a great wood incense box and incense amongst the redwoods during a road trip to rural Oregon.
I am finding that Japanese incense is my favorite due to the scents, and that it tends not to be too strong in smell, and it reminds me of the time that I spent living in Japan.
To The Beach
Lunch in Montecito

Night Time
Doing a bit of reading at night with a new book from the Jōdo Shinshū temple in Santa Barbara: The Teaching of Buddha (bilingual JP/EN)

And a bit of music I was listening to in the same night.
Yoga
Found via The Yongfook.
Anthony Bourdain
I attended Bourdain’s talk when he came to Santa Barbara, and I see a lot of myself in him.
If you haven’t already, I highly recommend you read his books.
I agree with “[Japan is] one of the most exciting and enjoyable places to go.”
